The most recent album of Cemetery of Scream brings the next dose of dark music, with excellent lyrics by Zdzisław Zabierzewski, well known anglicist from Cracow.

The album, recorded with the new vocalist Paweł Kluczewski, has a very melodic goth-metal sound. Cemetery of Scream offers its listeners a journey beyond the event horizon, where ghosts of the past disturb a happy existence in the present (“Cold Obsession In My Eyes”), but present strolls in dreams where it shouldn’t even be there(“Komatrance” – excellent for a single). “The Event Horizon” is marked with the stigma of the Universe.

Is that why we are coming back to the waters of The Ganges?. The second track, with a female vocal of Katarzyna Molenda(her voice brings to my mind that of De Coy from Fading Colours…), brings interesting oriental motives. In opposition to “The Secret Window”, which begins very gently, almost like a pop song…

But my favourite one is the longest composition on this album – “Cold Obsession In My Eyes”. Maybe it's because of the fact that obsession loses the sense of time... „You make me blind, but still I see”. Vegetation. Imitation of life. Beyond any event horizon. Just like at the cemetery of scream.„I’m not myself.”
