Po udanych poprzednich edycjach imprezy w Łodzi i Krakowie mamy przyjemność zaprosić na pierwszy w Polsce koncert IVATU w Format Łódź w ramach Dark Side Of The 80's L!VE

IVATU (ex.White Slaver) - zespół darkwave; w składzie: Eava (wokal i klawisze), Anton Fish (gitara, perkusja i syntezator) oraz Pavel Nikolskiy (gitara, bas i mixing). Zadebiutowali w Moskwie albumem «Soothe and Deny».
Ich muzyka znana jest z trip-hopowych, alternatywnych, darkwave, psychodelicznych i minimalistycznych wpływów.
Swoją EP-kę "Revel" (2016), utrzymaną w klimacie twórczości takich zespołów jak "Portishead" czy "Massive Attack", promowali na długiej europejskiej trasie koncertowej obejmującej około 13 krajów.

After successful Dark Side Of The 80’s events held within Łódź & Kraków since 2016, plus coinciding with a number of live acts making European tours towards the end of 2017 and into 2018.
It seemed a logical progression to hold Dark Side of the 80’s L!VE events to feature these bands that play the music/ vibes and soundscapes of the decade.

For this Live event, the first in Format Łódź we welcome Russian group IVATU.

IVATU (ex.White Slaver) - is a darkwave band, composed of Eava (vocals and keys), Anton Fish (ac. guitar, drums, and synths) and Pavel Nikolskiy (guitar, bass, and mixing), who formed in Moscow in 2014 with the debut album «Soothe and Deny».
The band's music is noted for its trip-hop, alternative, darkwave, psychedelic and minimalist influences. It's melodic but sharp, with poetic lyrics.
The band likes to avoid computers, using vintage gear during recording and their live shows.
Their EP «Revel» (2016) which has a taste of Portishead and Massive Attack aesthetics has been followed with a long European Tour including around 13 countries (with Whoneedslyrics Festival (Bratislava) and Underground Youth (UK) support), Russian Trip-Hop and Soundscape Festivals and Zoe Zanias (Berlin) support.


Pumped over, and at the same time rather a transparent sound proceeding from lots of analog synths in combination with the gloomy and very sensitive vocal of Eava gives an unforgettable effect, a certain mix of Massive Attack, Cocteau Twins with minimal-techno impregnations turns out.
