The new Deathstars album "Night Electric Night" is an album of a band that finally found their personal view on the music they want to create. It includes less industrial influences than its predecessors and leans more towards a dark gothic approach with graceful symphonic arrangements. By its straight forward rocking approach it remains catchy though. Vocals have increased in a wider range of timbres and the band shows a more emotive side vocally as well as instrumentally.
It may sound as a cliché, but 'Night Electric Night' is the best album so far of these Stockholm-based glamourous outfit. A perfect combination of decadence and inner depth. Out in january 2009 on Nuclear Blast.
