When I write a review of the band whose output I don't know well I try not to fall under the influence of their website. Sometimes, the band's image has nothing to do with the music they play. Sometimes, it's hopeless, even funny and creates the atmosphere of pseudo-chaos that is incompatible with the musicians' achievements. Nine tracks of the CD "Spacerując wśród cieni" are of a good technical quality if we think that it's home made one (at Grzegorz's house, or rather his parents' house). I'd even say it's very good if we take Polish conditions in to consideration. I was impressed. I start the adventure with the CD by listening to the intro. It lasts for about 4 minutes and as for me its length is a complete misunderstanding; after all the name intro stands for something, right? A bit monothematic starter. "Dowód Przyszłości" presents us with interesting solutions: if it was a purely instrumental track I'd rate it for 90%. "Ogień" is definitely not a presentation of a virtuosity, however, it surprises musically. Unfortunately, "Psychodream" is a kind of a vocal continuation of the previous track. Five minutes and we move to the next one "Pajęczyna", which together with "Ogień", is the best track on the whole CD. Though lyrics evoke associations with gothic rather than with electro, the track is worth your attention. The beginning of "Ty i Ja" is somewhat like "Song to Say Goodbye" by Placebo and remixes by Dimitri Tikovoi, which altogether is quite surprising. A bit ambient sounds are to be found in "Mix In Progress", which again reminds of "Bass Communion" and "Tim Hecker". Unfortunately, if you look for such inspirations, you'll look for in vain. Experiment and creativity or coincidence? I'd rather say the former. The last remixes are nothing of those I love, that is VnV Nation, but they are quite interesting as an alternative to "Ogień" and "Pajęczyna" in original versions. As I've already mentioned the image may be misleading. The music is interesting, the vocal is to be improved, still the band's creativity makes up all the deficiencies.
