The Norwegian futurepop act Icon of Coil will reunite for a one-off gig taking place in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada) at the New City Suburbs on June 1st.
It will be the first show in years for the band. Present will be Andy LaPlegua (Combichrist) and Sebastian Komor (Zombie Girl, Moonitor) to perform some classic IOC tunes.Icon Of Coil was established as a solo project in 1997 by Andy LaPlegua who was joined by former Sector 9 bandmate Sebastian Komor to perform live. With the release of "Shallow Nation", the band's first single, Komor joined full-time.

In 2000, Christian Lund joined the live lineup. Later that year the band's first full-length album, "Serenity is the Devil", was released. Shortly thereafter, Lund became a full-time band member.
