As an introduction I’ll just mention that the concert was organized by the Castle Cultural Center for the opening and promotion of recently refurbished Great Hall complex. I must admit that design and execution of this project has in a very positive way exceed all expectations. It’s definitely worth to see for yourself.

Piernikowski / Etamski / Rychlicki

The first trio of the evening, that is, things you can do with two synthesizers and a guitar. The presented set was mostly calm, however, at times, a more distinct rhythm brought more energy. Very interesting was the presentation of what you can get out of a guitar beyond the standard music. And yes, those interesting sounds the instrument added to the electronic background.

The second trio had a much more extensive equipment. Although also here two people were doing an electronic background and the third one varied the performance something different. But this time it was a whole set of diverse instruments, starting with drums, through cymbals, up to a metal sheet and twisted wires. Yes, instruments. All connected to a sound converter that changed their tone into surprising and changing noise. This has given a clear dynamic to the performance and provided a whole interesting listening experience.

The crowd filled nearly the entire Great Hall but it was to be expected, since the concert was for free. That was easy to notice. Apart from people clearly interested in what was going on and taking in the sounds flowing from the stage one could see those who sat and wondered why they came there. I hopes that at the end of the show they felt it was worth to come.
