Biography:

RECONSTRUCTION band originated in Krakow in the summer of 2001, established by four people who have been connected with the city music scene for years. Music performed by the band is a mixture of all the band members influences: new wave, industrial, rock, punk, gothic, electro, ambient, as well as funky.

In the Autumn of 2001 RECONSTRUCTION finished recording of their first demo "The Art of Reconstruction" (which fragments hve been broadcasted on the Radio Kraków or Blue FM). In the October od 2001 track "Bomba" reaches the first place in the plebiscite of 'XL' magazine and "Aiwa".

In the beginning of the following year the band started a regular concert business. Their first show took place on 9th March in TAM club, Kraków. Until now they played a several dozen of concerts, e.g. in all the most prominent clubs of Kraków (Strefa 22, Miasto Krakoff, Pod Jaszczurami, Jazz Rock Cafe and others), in Siemianowice Śląskie, Ostrów Wielkopolski (Underground of Poland), Poznań, Zawonia, Stary Sącz. RECONSTRUCTION had its opportunity to play with the bands such as: Guess Why, Agressiva 69, Maleńczuk, Proletaryat or Dr Zoydbergh.

In May 2002 in the club of 'Kiniarnia' (Kraków) the band had a premiere of their videoclip "Xmas Paranoia" made by the film group "My Favourite Eye".

In late 2003, the band recorded their new material thanks to CDR label Kultura Industrialna on the split with Magnetic Field/Reconstruction – "Sound Perverse" and the compilation "Sound Collapsed" in 2004. The recordings of the band has encountered with a very favorable reception among alternative music fans. In 2005 Reconstruction recorded a material to their newest album - 'Electromechanic' which has been released thanks to the independent KBPK/Northern Light label.
