Sweet Sister Pain - Songs from the 4th Dimension
The German dark romantic / art rock trio "Sweet Sister Pain" recorded a new EP to promote the show production "Songs from the 4th Dimension" and give an idea what to expect from the live show at the 16.6.2012 in Markthalle Hamburg. Gunther Laudahn (Git, Vox - Sarah Brightman, Gregorian), Charlotte Kracht (Vox, Cello - Lacrimosa, Eden) and Rudolph Naomi (Drums - KMFDM, Blitzmaschine) stocked up the cast with a few wonderful guest artists. Constance Rudert (ex. Blutengel, Cinderella Effect) and Richard Naxton (Gregorian) share the vocals with the "Sweet Sisters".
The video shows the other two performers Catherine Barche and Rolf Bleischwitz in the breathtaking environment of the harbour of Hamburg. Gunther Laudahn filmed this clip after a dream he had. Light and quite funny is the adaption of the great French traditional "Noel nouvelet" about 3 minutes of a journey through time and space and styles. The song "Unhappy" develops into a rockish groove and ends with a cello solo that makes a couple of guitar solos look lame. The fifth and last track is playback of the single 16- 6 (drowning). Sweet Sister Pain want the fans to dub their own version of the songs on the playback and load it up the world wide web.
