The essence of electronic mysticism with a great dose of dynamic. This is precisely "Clear Message" – debut album of Czech project Tear. Released in 2007 unquestionably it can be described as unusually interesting. Already the first title track is a strong point, expressive and perfectly introducing the character of the whole album. There is no blending sounds no sounds creating one rhythmical and conceptual whole. But! Paradoxically it is a perfect mix of sounds fitting to each other. Despite the omnipresent diversity and puzzle of ideas, CM presents in a way hierarchical story, both in terms of lyrics and melody. There is no "random" tracks ;) do not expect unified atmosphere. Be ready for unexpected turns and playing with emotions.
There is an energy and, most of all, true feelings in the phenomenal voice of the vocalist. It’s tempting to say that all electro fans would find here something for themselves. But not only. There is also dynamics and episodic nostalgia, also some mystery appears – real mixture.
Clear Message is enjoyable but not trivial. It’s a musical kaleidoscope in which sounds take different shapes. Diversified, rhythmical and surprising. Personally I think the album is very good and worth relistening. Tear surely has presented good musical quality and most of all great ideas.
