I like such albums. Actually, it is difficult to write something more, as the record is not composed of as many tracks as to elaborate on them in an epic-related manner, yet I will try to outline what we are actually dealing with. TERRORKODE - "Whores + Motherfuckers" - doesn't the sheer title sound intriguing? It is owing to the tiltle itself that I took an interest in this material (in actual fact, I find it difficult to state whether it is a single, demo or an EP).
The record lasts approximately 25 minutes and includes 5 tracks. The first of them, being the title "Motherfuckers", starts off with an exceptionally good beat, which makes your legs more than willing to jump on a dance floor Very intense piece indeed, which according to me is a perfect tune for every sort of dance folly. The second in line is, also somewhat a title track, "Whore". Yet again splendid, rocking (if one is able to use such a term) beat with a huge dose of melodics. Then we have "Motherfucker (STUDIO-X Hard Dance remix), distinguishing sligthly from the original, but still being danceable, just as its title indicates. Next is "Whore (SAM Bukkake Remix) enriched by much more intense beginning, different arrengement and samples of female moans. The release ends with "Motherfuckers (SYNDROME x-209 Remix), commencing with outstandingly calm, even symphonic introduction and, generally speaking, is probably the softest piece, which does not necessarily mean that we are treated to some sort of "wail". As a matter of fact, this is the end. 25 minutes passes by almost in a flash.
What can I say as the afterword to my review? The record is certainly worth a listen. The title tracks leave a good impression and the remixes are adequately diversified so as not to evoke weariness. I have been truly intrigued by this band and I do think I will eagerly listen to their next tracks.
