Our Polish labels Beast of Prey and Zoharum have combined their powers and brought into being the very first paper newsletter dedicated to the widely-perceived scene of anti-music. Seeing the utter ignorance of so-called mainstream press publishers, ignoring the earlier-mentioned phenomenon in their media, the representatives of those two labels decided to meet the expectations of the fans of industrial music, as well as dark ambient, noise and avant-garde, creating a magazine which is directed strictly at this group of people.
The first issue is due to come out 25th March. Its premiere coincides with the date of CoC-art festival, during which it will be posssible to familiarize yourself with the magazine's content and purchase it personally. The very first issue will feature the interviews with Paranoia Inducta, [haven], Artefactum, Ab Intra, Praetorianem, Vilgoć, the articles on the works of Voices of Cosmos, Ouroboros, as well as the independent electronic scene of 80's and 90's (997 and Dusseldorf, among others) and some texts on subjects different than the music itself: The magic life of Marjorie Cameron, Flim My Swastika, The magic revival of Kenneth Grant, a coverage from Intermediale festival, reviews and presentations of the graphics created by the artists related to industrial environment.The first issue of HARD Art. constitutes 40 pages about music, movies, art and the independent culture.
Through the courtesy of Requiem Record, the issue will be enriched by an album of 997 - "Pieśni masowe na zespół świetlicowy".
The magazine will be available for a modest sum of 5 zł. One will be able to purchase it via the websites of beast of prey and alchembria.pl (the store of Zoharum).
