In order to create this particular album two legendary groups worked together - "The Invincible Spirit" and "The Fair Sex". Neither of them needs introduction. In the 20th anniversary of the bands establishment this split was recorded.
The album consists of 7 recordings – 2 of each band + 3 brand new pieces recorded together by TFS and IIS. All the three are great. Although I definitely prefer The Fair Sex’ (especially the recording „Drop of blood”) I must admit, that both groups compete for priority very strongly.
The album will make you thrive for more. Perhaps that was the intention - both groups simultaneously release the albums ‘best of’ and it is a great idea to appear on the Dark Independent stage ready to act and to present themselves to the younger audience, who hasn't had an opportunity to get familiar with their music yet.
After having listened to „The Invincible Sex” I may say, that sometimes listening to the old recordings is a good idea, especially if are modernized. It's also good to pay attention to the fact, that all the “old” recordings have been remastered and sound the hell better than originals. Great advantage!
