Victorians- a band from Poland, formed in 2010. Since then, the band has a strong emphasis on the visual side of its work. Victorians' style is the synthesis of symphonic orchestrations, semi-operatic vocals, heavy guitars and lyrics that are full of passion and power.
Victorians is an attempt to make the art of life, the struggle for the realization of your dreams and fantasies. We show our love for the culture of the nineteenth century. Victorians indeed a very specific word, it refers mainly to artists creating in the Victorian era. We would like to restore that level of culture.
Putting aside the music, the visual side of the band is very interesting- band admits to stylistic inspiration from the 19th century. The author of amazing photos is Catherine Niwińska.
'Revival' was recorded in MP Studio(Czestochowa) in late June and July. Stuff can be purchased on iTunes and Amazon, and on October 26th release will be officially available in stores. Victorians will play on October 19th in Krakow with Jelonek, polish violinist, and on December 15th in Wroclaw. More in our calendar.
