Z.E.T.A.X is a Funker Vogt's frontman's side project. Another famous person of the western scene - Alexander Krull – was responsible for the album's production. And like in case of Andy LaPlagua, we may be
satisfied with the results.
While Funker Vogt is monotonous and boring at times, Z.E.T.A.X offers a great mixture of EBM, gentle industrial, harsh guitar sounds, goth and a minimal amount of synthpop. However, EBM prevails. I've come across an opinion, that through the fact that Gerrit Thomas's melodious and calm, almost emotionless voice substitutes yell and hoarse singing – vocal part seems worse. But I completely disagree: it's almost reversely: the album only makes on this vocal change. Those, who are acquainted with electronic sounds and bored with permanent listening the same sounds will be satisfied. The change is „Feoh” real advantage.
Another advantage is variety. The fans of harsh and fast recordings, those fond of club dancing, those who prefer to sit at home and take a rest in peace: all of them will find something to suit their taste on this album. What's more interesting, the album has something specific to it, which makes people listen to it again and again - although it's hard to specify what this quality really is. The people with imagination will have the impression of a journey and the future while listening to „Feoh”. Additional advantage of the album is the recording @2000 whose mode suits the album perfectly, but as far as style is concerned, evokes the association with the EBM of the 90's. Z.E.T.A. X and „Feoh” make a very good impression and extinguish themsleves positively. The album is a great idea when one wants to relax after listening to the aggressive and tiring groups. In my opinion „Feoh” is 85%.
