It's certain that year 2000 was successful for Johan Van Roy. Next disc premiere - titled "Mindstrip" - preceded double triumph of previous released singles - "Comatose Delusion" and "Hellraiser" on German Alternative Charts. On the other hand, singles often can't attest the quality of whole recording. Looking sceptically on another belgium production pleasant surprise awaits. In front of us we have one of milestones of EBM music. Listening to this longplay we can hear influence of Skinny Puppy or Front 242, what Van Roy himself confirms, mentioning this bands, along with Klinik, as the music mentors. I must say that Suicide Commando is one of the most recognized bands on electro scene. And this title they owe to "Mindstrip".
De facto album starts from mentioned "Hellraiser".  It gives the impression similar to "Filth God" by Panzer AG. "Body Count Proceed" calms the atmosphere after power noise. This calm won't last long, and it's not equal with boredom. Characteristic theme linked with spoken words creates amazing totality. Moment of trainquility is disturbed by "Raise Your God". In music sense this record is a sine wave. Again downtempo. Mindstripper it's not what it seems. "Run", impecunious with sounds, may be the only Van Roy's mistake. Overdose Shot Two. Successor on disc and predecessor as a single - "Comatose Delusion". I must mention great "Love Breeds Suicide". With "H" and "CD" it should form cd's Bermuda's Triangle. Ending. Our life is a torment paved with sorrow and pain. Rather pessimistic vision, mr Van Roy.
