A new single by Anna Aliena, which is an interpretation of one of the most favourite suicides’ tracks, Hungarian "Szomoru Vasarnap", will be released on 30th November.
"Szomorú Vasárnap" by Hungarian composer Rezsö Seress has become an accompaniment for a lot of suicides. After 80 years since the publishing of the track Anna Aliena interprets this composition in two personal versions of "Gloomy Sunday". It is not the first such try, it has been done by many artists such as: Diamanda Galas, Sarah Brightman, Björk, however ex-vocalist of ShirayasDream decided not to translate the original lyrics but to write her own, which makes it not just a cover.
The first version "Gloomy Sunday (Suicide Drive), which joins electronics with dramatic vocals, is a full of despair way into desolate nooks of soul, the second one, "Gloomy Sunday (Lovers in War)" is a melancholic story about destructive romance in which orchestra arrangements surrounds Anna’s mezzosoprano.

The single in electronic version will released by Go!Diva Records.
