Piona-Art Agency and Megaclub invite you to the concert of the legendary gothic-rock band - Fields Of The Nephilim. The group is to perform at Megaclub in Katowice, on 6th May 2011. The concert will be their only show in Poland, as far as this year is concerned. Special guests, which will give their shows before the headliners, will be announced shortly.
Fields Of The Nephilim is an English, gothic-rock playing band. It was founded in 1984 in Stevenage, England as a concept of Carl McCoy, Gary Wisker, Tony Pattitt, Paula Wright and Nod Wright. Soon after the foundation, the band was joined by Peter Yates, with whom the very first album entitled Dawnrazor was recorded. Up to the present, the group has released four albums, with the latest one put out in 2005.
Someone once wrote: "If Pink Floyd played gothic rock, they would most probably have sounded like Fields of The Nephilim..."
In no case may the above statement be countered, especially while bearing in mind the ageless masterpiece "Elizium", which production Andy Jackson himself (known from the cooperation with Pink Floyd, for instance) was involved in.
The concert is due to be followed by an after party held in a gothic atmosphere.
