With a well-received, debut album Broken Grid that came out in 2009 and, released a year later, an EP Resigned, Solar Fake managed to win the support and acknowlegdement of many fans worldwide, impatiently awaiting a new record of electronic embodiment of Sven Friedrich (Dreadful Shadows, Zerpahine). And did their waiting come to an end at the final last. On 22 July the new album of Solar Fake entitled Frontiers is to be released.
11 pieces will be included on the new record; the tracks are to leave their unerasable trace in our minds. Frontiers will continue the sound path marked by Broken Grid, which Sven subsequently stuck to in Resigned - club and melodic tracks whose the only common feature is the voice of Sven. Typical sound of Solar Fake will be blended with industrial, synthpop and the 80's electro influences, resulting in an album which is surely to take you by surprise with every tune.Traditionally, Sven have covered a certain song. In this case 'Such a Shame', originally performed by Talk Talk, has been brought into a new sound dimension.
