Jérôme Chassagnard & Jérémie Mathes - Outer Dialog

2016-02-14 (News)

For the creation of 'Outer Dialog' Jérôme Chassagnard decided to work with someone he musically and personally admired. For this reason he worked with musician, composer and good friend Jérémie Mathes. Jérémie had already participated on 'Inner Dialog' and had a breadth of experience as a solo artist himself, and he was able to add a number of different musical points of view to Jérôme's already detailed concept.
The music on this album is a logical continuation of its predecessor as well as conceptually expressing the other side of the coin: ambient electronica and shoegaze spheres counteract with intense rhythm-oriented idm textures while the sound is focused on extroverted beat patterns. A fascinating interaction between soothing beauty and stirring, powerful force.
'Outer Dialog' is intended as a partner to ‘Inner Dialog’, to meld both albums as one associated work, illustrated by a correspondent artwork style, typography, and an identical number of tracks. An engaging opus which captures every bit of your attention.

Nattskiftet - Aceton

2016-02-13 (News)

Nattskiftet from Gothenburg release their debut EP. The band quickly became the talk of the scene in Sweden after their performance at the Electronic Summer festival last year. Later in the autumn they also opened for legends Atari Teenage Riot. The music is danceable classic EBM with a pop-feel to it. The tracks are all super catchy and the remixes from Spetsnaz and Xenturion Prime are strong dancefloor material. Nattskiftet are brothers Christer and Lars Björndahl (also known for their italo act Disco Digitale), Tobias Eliasson together with Anna Johnning. Nattskiftet is for sure one of the most interesting new things to come from Sweden in a long time in the EBM-scene. A new injection so needed in the scene.

Frl. Linientreu - Transformation

2016-02-12 (News)

Nearly six years after Ina Peters a.k.a. Frl. Linientreu released her fascinating and very personal album 'Lifelines', the musical biography continues with her third full length release 'Transformation', a release that documents changes in her work and private life as well as her recent musical status.
The thirteen tracks on this album not only deliver a wide range of moods between relief, thoughtfulness, tension, anger and frustration, but also channel the will to go on, intensified through the use of heartfelt lyrics in German. Industrial, ambient, technoid electronics, blissful idm and minimal are featured in Frl. Linientreu's own unique way where classic musical influences from pioneers like Kraftwerk are also perfectly integrated and processed.
A highly emotional and versatile release where the lucidity of the digital age clashes with analogue roughness and a title whose different meanings like metamorphosis, change or realization are all relevant and correct.

Forgotten Sunrise - Guardian Curtains

2016-02-11 (News)

Estonian Dark-Electro-pioneers Forgotten Sunrise return with a brand-new single which shows them from their most accessible side. The perfect appetizer for an upcoming album release.
Forgotten Sunrise have always been interested in breaking sonic boundaries, gleefully ignoring genre limitations and creating an altogether unique dark electronic sound. The new single "Guardian Curtains" is carried by Anders Melts' dark and sonorous voice that is both club-oriented and gloomily atmospheric. The single includes the original and 3 remixes created by Millimetric, Leæther Strip, and Wychdoktor.

SiJ & Textere Oris - Reflections under the sky

2016-02-10 (News)

"Reflections under the sky", a collaboration between Moscow based Textere Oris and Ukrainian project SiJ comes this field recording focused release. A merger of warm tape noise fused recordings and analogue acoustics, it paints a larger than life picture of nature with a warm but at times brooding backdrop with and overlay of sacral vocals.

Somatic Responses - Folding Space

2016-02-09 (News)

Five years after the breathtaking album 'Concrete Glider' Somatic Responses present a new masterpiece 'Folding Space'. The welsh duo throughout the fourteen tracks introduce a heavy crossfire of various electronic music styles between cinematic ambient soundscapes, melodic acid influenced technoid electro, aggressive idm / breakbeat and powerful industrial. Gentle harmonies, abstract syncopation and frenetic distorted beat patterns drastically take turns resulting in a diversified kaleidoscope of moods within more than 75 minutes.
Once again Somatic Responses have produced an excellent album which is harsh and subtle at the same time and which combines nocturnal gloom with radiant luminance.
