Forever Still - Tied Down

2016-01-05 (News)

Forever Still are a completely honest and emotional in-your-face heavy rock band with no excuses. The band's wide array of brooding beats, atmospheric electronic textures, and stocky guitar riffs, all compliment vocal powerhouse Maja Shining's emotionally revealing lyrics, which range from soft lullaby tones to scathing and aggressive full throttle screams.
Consisting of Maja Shining, Mikkel Haastrup, and Dennis Post, the band have built a large following by delivering breathtaking shows fuelled by a consecutive level of very high quality releases, especially for a truly DIY band with no major backing.
In 2014 Forever Still returned to the studio to record the first of three EPs that now make up their full-length concept album ‘Tied Down’. The record grapples with a glut of personal issues stemming from depression, anxiety, and worthlessness, through to perseverance and recovery. The first EP ‘Scars’ picked up glowing reviews, as did the second record entitled ‘Save Me’. The band hit the studio again to lay down tracks for their third and final chapter in the EP trilogy. Forever Still now unleash their eagerly awaited debut full length album "Tied Down".

2016-01-03 (News)

The leaders of the techno industrial music movement in Brazil are ready to strike back again with an extended new EP release: "Cold Is Clean" on which Aesthetische feature stunning collaborations with some well-known scene singers and activists.
The duo keeps the throttle in full pace mode presenting to us five new tracks, engineered to stomp club floors worldwide. In this new release the band relies yet again on the wonderful collaborations with singers Xev from Diffuzion on an all-new rework of the classic track, "Touch the Cold Glass", in a 2015 revamped version re-named as, "Cold Glass – 2015 rework". But also with Mari Kattman, another Aesthetische favorite partner and well known singer in the electronic scene, who imprints her beautiful voice on two versions of a completely new track – "Blue Print", re-built by Aesthetische in a club-oriented original version and as a more chilled-out oceanic mix, both fully loaded with the band’s trademark of blended electronics. "Unity" is another instrumental piece combining hard beats and melodies.
The EP tops-off with a very well executed club-driven remix of the track "Dirt", produced by DJ Simon Carter.

Star Industry - New Millenium

2016-01-02 (News)

While Star Industry are currently preparing a follow-up release to their much acclaimed sophomore album, "The Renegade", they decided to offer us some nostalgic moments with the "New Millennium EP"  that was originally released  in 1999. Now it is available again on digital platforms. The whole world was at that moment into this hype about the millennium, and so this was a good opportunity to release this 4 track EP as a follow up from the band’s debut, and now cult gothic rock album, "Iron Dust Crush".
This 4-tracker contains the song "New Millennium", but also a stunning cover version of "Kings And Queens" by Killing Joke. Add to this "Like A Ghost", a very electronic minded ballad, showing a very different side of Star Industry’s songwriting potential through a very sensitive and highly emotional track. This EP also features the final version of the song, "Sodium Haze" which was featured in a demo version on the "Iron Dust Crush" album.

Fast paced, techno driven hardstyle tunes full of oomph and oontz that once again show the duo pushing the musical boundaries of listeners’ minds.
As always with these unpredictable enfants terribles, this new EP also has its more melancholic and almost pop fuelled elements with songs like the uplifting and moody "NoWhere", the catchy dance tune "Forbidden Dreams", the unique "Lost In Space" or yet the experimental psy-trance effort "Never Part".
Add to this the very diverse remixes by Alkemic Generator, the straight EBM act VV303, the synth driven Antibody or yet the thunderous dancefloor energy of Caustic and their characteristic fusion of hard EBM meets industrial techno dance.
