IAMX - Metanoia (Vinyl)

2015-12-19 (News)

"LA gives me a wider, more adult perspective on my life and my work. I feel more grown-up here."” A gorgeous intersection of electronics and Corner’s fragile yet commanding voice, ‘"Happiness"’ is trademark IAMX with a fresh sense of urgency. “It feels purer in concept and execution. "My intention was to go back to one man, one machine",” He explains. "“I limited my sound to drum machines, a few synthesizers and piano samples. It helped me get back to the essence of IAMX and made the recording process much easier, giving me room to focus on the vocal performance and the message."”
Like an electro glam soundtrack to a Jan Svankmajer film, IAMX - "Metanoia" mixes Corner’s erotically charged dynamic vocals with fresh intricate electronic production, melancholia and piercing lyrics. Music that is as brutal as it is emotional.

Deutsch Nepal - Alcohology

2015-12-17 (News)

Deutsch Nepal and Lina Baby Doll are back after 5 years in the retreat of the Swedish woods with a new album - "Alcohology". Album mainly contains slow pounding industrial music in the vein that are familiar to all Deutsch Nepal fanatics in the same way as the previous album "Amygdala". Swirling mirrors of looped sounds loosely glued together with pounding or haunting beats followed with simple melodic input. The dystopian vocals present a surrealistic scenario built up inside your head while listening.
The thoughtful statements of the gain and dangers of the consumption of alcohol continues as a theme all through the album and end with a re-recording of "Erosion" from the album with the same name from 1999 where the impact fluids have, not only on the human body but also on Mother Earth itself.

Kirlian Camera - It Doesn't Matter Now

2015-12-15 (News)

For the first time ever on CD: the very first official album by Kirlian Camera, originally released in 1983 by Angelo Bergamini and Simona Buja. Digitally remastered for this occasion and presented with a new cover. This brilliant first chapter is the first official opus by the project, following the "Kirlian Camera" minialbum, and presents two important singles "Communicate" and "Edges" – singles that opened the band the opportunity for some TV-appearances and a first success in clubs, magazines and audience, establishing Kirlian Camera as one of the most promising new bands in the 80's New Wave and Dark Scene! A real monumental album for the period, full of energy, with sounds that were very typical for that period: a dark wave with clear post-punk and modern-pop influences – a mix that will become a real trademark for the band during the 80s, an own, and very original sound in a combination of anger and hypnotics, a mix of several atmospheres, always very difficult to categorize or to be cloned by other bands.
