Biography:

Torul is an alternative electro-pop band from Slovenia, founded and led by Torulsson, who is the songwriter and the producer of the band. The other two members are guitarist and live synth player Borut and singer Jan. Torulsson has had a lot of club music releases in the past, but parallelly also explored vocal music, inspired not just by electronic music, but also dark rock, indie and other genres. Constantly exploring and merging influences and own development in production, Torul have quite a unique sound with a variety of different approaches. Instead of strictly following one style of music, they are interested in production with a broader approach to music.

First Torul's album “Dark Matters” saw light in 2010 and in spite of an almost non-existing promotion brought two quite well accepted singles, “It Was Supposed To Be Fun” and “Saddest Song”.
Right after that, Torul got signed by German independent label Infacted Recordings and released noticeable album “In Whole”.  Their unique video for “Try”, with another video for “In Whole”, were very well accepted and awareness for Torul was finally established between gothic and synth-pop community as well as other music fans. Torul, highly motivated, started the production of the forthcoming album “Tonight We Dream Fiercely” shortly after that, first releasing a single and video for “Glow”.

In 2015 Torul releases “The Measure” album, which helps to establish themselves as one of the rare unpredictable synthpop bands on the scene, who are always up for something new, seemingly never satisfied with just sticking with one formula or trying to do what others do. Torulsson, the leader and producer of the band, has had influences from many music genres and other events in life and thus it is impossible for him not to be moving on to the next chapters of the project with curiosity, playfulness and also continuous exploration of the Torul sound. Torul who already proof their hit affinity with songs such as "Try", "The Balance", "Waterproof Theme" or "The Fall" bring us the ultimate summer hit single "Difficult To Kill". The new single comes again with a massive high quality video! After the first single "All" which reached position 1 of the German alternative charts (DAC) they once more proof that they can write charming electropop songs with massive hit potential.
