"Brewery In Piotrków Trybunalski" is a tribute to the golden drink that has been a joybringer for mankind for a couple of thousand years now. The whole album is a collection of pieces by 23 performers, who in some ways refer to the theme of the double CD compilation. A booklet with graphics and photos made by the projects accompanies the discs.

Just like your average compilation, this one brings a medley of good and worse stuff, but here the average is good or even very good. All tracks have been arranged in an orderly fashion, so it's a pleasant progress through all the different kinds of music, even if they differ a lot. So, the first CD begins with Division S, sliding to an ethereal Asmorod, neofolk Krepulec or dark ambient Nekyia, with an acoustic track by Hati as a finishing move... The second CD bring a similar composition, staying on par with its predecessor. There is a single gem, at least in my opinion, to be found among the tracks. It's "The Legend Of The Arrival Club" by Outofsight, and I think it's the apex of the two CDs.

I can honestly recommend this compilation to all fans of unconventional sounds - just remember that you don't have to love the golden drink to listen to it ;)
