The latest Inkubus Sukkubus release is a celebration of the less benevolent aspects of female divinity and is dedicated to the Goddess Lilith. Not every single track embraces this theme; there is the anthemic ‘Karnayna Chorus’, which is a celebration of the Horned God, but most of the songs on the album point towards the many aspects of the goddess at her more sinister.
Inkubus Sukkubus are known for embracing both the dark and the light, which is one of the reasons why they are known for their depth and complexity by music fans, Pagans and academics alike, and the ‘Dark Goddess’ album certainly has both darkness and light within it. Throughout 2011 Inkubus Sukkubus will be concentrating on their live shows and developing their performance which, now where possible, contains a video backdrop. The year will also see the re-release of three of the band’s albums ‘Supernature’, ‘Heartbeat of the Earth’ and ‘Away with the Faeries’ in new editions.

"The Dark Goddess" Released on Resurrection and available February 18th, 2011.
