I had a contact with the band NUN while listening to the collection „The Best Of Polish Synth” and I must say that I was intrigued by their music at once. Now I'm listening to the preview of their CD „This is electropop” and I think the title suits the music perfectly as the band plays electropop in its best possible form. I was positively surprised by the fact that NUN is a Polish band which records their music in Poland regardless of the difficulties.
NUN's music is ravishing from the beginning to the end. Danceable rhythm and calm and interesting female vocal are combination which equals in quality and performance with the well-known foreign artists of electronic scene. The advantage of the CD is that while listening to it I didn't have any unequivocal and obvious associations with other groups. The tracks are well-made and remixed with care and as such suit my taste perfectly. The whole isn't boring and definitely is pleasant to listen. I'm sure that lots of arranged tracks will receive a warm welcome on the parties, still they're also great to listen whenever we need energy as the CD simply boils with rich sounds and catchy rhythm. What's more, it's a dose of positive energy which may improve the mood for the whole day. The outstanding song on the CD is definitely the fast, strong and energetic „Stop!”, which may be associated with the highly developed western electronic club scene. I've an impression that the foreign club inspirations are present on the CD, which is definitely its advantage.
I recommend the CD to all the electro, synth and future music fans as I believe they will find some interesting sounds there. I think that all those who are interested in Polish groups should also acquaint themselves with this CD. I personally perceive NUN as one of the best Polish bands on electronic scene.
